It started when I was eight years old. I began with a pile of Huffys my dad brought home from work. I was building Franken bikes before the term existed. I started hanging out at my local bike shop when I was twelve. Gained "shop rat" status by fifteen and was managing that shop by the time I was nineteen. From there I moved into manufacturing and wholesaling. After chasing a pay check through some soul sucking corporate fails. After some soul searching, I realized I was happiest when working on bikes. Upon deeper reflection it was bike people I enjoyed the most. You are part of my tribe and my shop is our shrine. I have shunned the original bike shop model. Old is good, simple is better and function always wins over hype. I work on the all the modern hydraulic, electric wonder machines. But any newb "technician" can be trained to work on tomorrows obsolescence. I can work on the old stuff and probably sold it when it was new. I keep a deep inventory of new and old around to keep you rolling
