I have been passionate about bikes my entire life and have been working on bikes professionally for nearly four decades. I am very serious about my career choice. As a lifetime member of our cult I take offense to the term technician when applied to my craft. Technicians are limited to narrow paths of repair. A mechanic has a much deeper theoretical understanding of the whole Although bikes are beautifully elegant in their simplicity I love the complications that come along.
